Letting the inner child in me come out to play as I drink in the beauty surrounding me!

In the blink of an eye, the first week of 2023 is done…what fun it’s been setting footsteps in a completely new country and having experiences I have once only dreamed of….

This art installation called ‘One, Two, Three Swing!” is in a hidden playground surrounded by the towering sandstone cliffs of the Ashar Valley at the uber chic Habitas AlUla and it reminds us to seek out the moments in life which exist purely for us, to go back to when we were children - curious and carefree and living for the present moment.

Here’s wishing you a happy first weekend of 2023: may it be full of carefree moments!

…But the version of me that is taking the lessons of 2022 into the energy of this new year.

The most valuable lesson I learned in 2022 was the resounding effect of a little two letter word: NO, that is so powerful and yet underutilized and sometimes even ignored!

So here’s to a year of exercising my choice to saying more YES to all that does light my soul on fire, to new adventures and to living with intention more often than not.

Hello Zagreb!

Grab a drink at one of the many bars on Tkalciceva Street before tackling the stairs to Upper Town to get this view of the Zagreb Catherdral!

You can also ride the worlds shortest funicular to the top but…the stairs meant finding other hidden gems along the way too…

At the top you’ll see that Zagreb Cathedral is the tallest building in town, with its spires being an integral part of the city skyline.

You’ll also see all kinds of love locks padlocked onto the grill fence with some being super cute!
